The Economically Targeted Investment (ETI) Policy was adopted by the WSIB in
March 2003 to confirm that the Investment Board will continue to seek quality investment opportunities in
Washington state in accordance with established policies, statutory mandates and fiduciary duties.
The ETI policy directed WSIB staff to provide an annual progress report to the Board, beneficiaries,
the Legislature and the Governor on Washington-based investment initiatives involving the WSIB, its
private equity General Partners, and other groups and organizations working to improve economic
opportunity and growth statewide.
