| If you are a qualified candidate interested in serving on the Washington State Investment Board as a
non-voting member please send us a letter of introduction and a resume for future consideration
should a position become available. Non-voting members serve in an advisory capacity on the WSIB and
are selected by voting members based on their experience and expertise in investment matters. Non-voting
members are expected to: |
 |
Review background materials to fully understand and adhere to Board operations and practices. |
 |
Thoroughly review agenda materials provided in advance of Board and/or Committee meetings. |
 |
Actively participate in discussions and deliberations that take place at Board and/or Committee meetings. |
 |
Comply with financial disclosure and ethics policies of Washington State and the WSIB. |
|
Each non-voting member term is three years and members serve on the Board until a
reappointment for the position is made. In the event of unexpected resignations and other changes, positions
do open up from time to time. To expedite the non-voting member appointment process, the WSIB wants to
have a superior pool of talented and accomplished candidates readily available for interviews and
consideration. Please send resumes and background information to the WSIB at anytime to the following
