Robert S. Nakahara, CPA Robert Nakahara was originally appointed to the Board in 1996. He was recently re-appointed to his fifth three-year term to begin January, 2008. He is a member of the WSIB's Public Markets and Audit committees. Mr. Nakahara is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants/Washington State Society of CPA's. He is Chief Financial Officer/Corporate Secretary for MedManage Systems, Inc., a drug sampling and promotional technology solutions provider for the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Nakahara was Managing Director of Alliance Health Technologies, LLC; President of Advanced Research Systems, Inc.; Chief Financial Officer for Mentor Health Northwest/Spectrum Health of Washington, Inc.; and, Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of PREMERA Blue Cross of Washington & Alaska. He is a member and past chair of the Finance and Audit Committee for the Medic One Foundation; a member of the Seattle University School of Nursing-Dean's Advisory Board; and, a member of the Washington State Board of Accountancy-Advisory Board. Mr. Nakahara received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting, finance, and international business, Cum Laude from the University of Washington and earned his Master in Business Administration in finance, Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puget Sound.
