Charles A. Kaminski, CFA Originally appointed to WSIB in November, 1992, Mr. Kaminski was re-appointed to serve his sixth term on the Investment Board beginning January, 2007 to December, 2009. He is a member of the WSIB's Public Markets and Audit committees. Mr. Kaminski is a Registered Investment Advisor providing public market investment management for private clients. Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer for GE Financial Assurance - now known as Genworth. Prior to moving to Seattle in 1992, he was a Director & Portfolio Manager for Baring Asset Management – a global, institutional, money manager. Mr. Kaminski's professional associations include the CFA Institute and the Seattle Society of Financial Analysts. For years he has served the local entrepreneurial community through leadership positions in the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest. Mr. Kaminski received his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He received three degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
