In order to efficiently analyze investment issues, specific areas of responsibility
have been assigned to committees of the Board. The committees consist of selected board members and act as
extensions of the Board. Their function is to analyze investment issues under their jurisdiction in greater
detail than would be practicable for the full Board.
Committee recommendations are brought to the Board at regular meetings for a Board vote. The Board has
established four committees that are appointed by the Chair and approved by the Board.
