| Investment Officer - Real Estate |

The Washington State Investment Board (WSIB) is seeking a highly-qualified professional to fill an Investment Officer - Real Estate position. This
is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing and dynamic global institutional investment portfolio. WSIB's current real estate portfolio is valued at over $9 billion,
and is focused on being creative and innovative.
The primary role of the Investment Officer is to work with rest of the Real Estate Team in seeking out, selecting and overseeing real estate partnerships on behalf
of the WSIB. This position may participate in a variety of aspects of the real estate program but with a particular emphasis on portfolio management and partnership
oversight. Team members are actively involved with the portfolio's investments - we maintain a very hands-on approach.
The WSIB's real estate investment program is different from most other institutional investors, in that investments are primarily made through the ownership of
operating companies. Many of our partnerships target long-term income generation as opposed to the creation of short-term gains. The portfolio has a truly global
focus, with investments currently in more than 30 countries, including in emerging markets.
